Over the Fence

After being dumped by his wife, Shiraiwa leaves Tokyo and goes back to his hometown, Hakodate City. His new, monotonous life is disrupted when he meets an odd hostess named Satoshi, whose main talent is imitating the movements of a bird. Slowly they fall in love, but Shiraiwa’s troubled past continues to haunt him. (Synopsis from Camera Japan Festival)
