The Real Thing
The life of a bored office worker unravels after he saves the life of a mysterious woman. She is far more intriguing than the two colleagues he has casual relationships with, but she draws him into her dangerous, troubled world. The film version of a television series of the same name, which is in turn based on the manga, holds the attention throughout as the tragicomic love story unfolds. Selected for the official competition at Cannes in 2020.
