Terai Keiki (Inagaki Goro) is a prosecutor in Yokohama who butts heads with his wife about how to handle the education of their son, who has stopped going to school. Kiryu Natsuki (Aragaki Yui) is a sales clerk who lives uneventfully with her parents, and she finds out that Sasaki Yoshimichi (Isomura Hayato), who switched schools in junior high, is back in town.
