“Let’s handle Grandma’s funeral ourselves.” With a single remark from their father, the Muraoka family sets out to handle the funeral on their own. But as they scramble to make it happen, one unbelievable event after another unfolds. Will they be able to fulfill their father’s wish? Based on a true story.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Tetsuji Muraoka 村岡 哲至

Tetsuji Muraoka was born in Yamanashi Prefecture. He graduated from Tohoku University’s Graduate School of Information Science and Technology with a Ph.D. and completed the New National Theatre Institute in 2016. He directed and performed in the short film Family Sending in 2020, which received the Special Prize at the Virtual Open Zone 2021.
