Good News,

Kotaro and Miyuki live together, but Miyuki has noticed Kotaro acting strangely and suspects he is cheating on her. In fact, Kotaro is hiding a shady side job and is about to take part in a crime for the sake of their future together. As each tries to hide the truth and pretend not to notice the other’s suspicions, they become caught in a web of lies, while quietly holding on to their hopes for the future.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Daichi Watanabe 渡辺 大知

Daichi Watanabe made his acting debut in Oh, My Buddha! (色即ぜねれいしょん, 2009) and won the 33rd Japan Academy Prize for Best New Actor. In 2010, he made his major debut as a member of the rock band KURONEKO CHELSEA. His directorial debut, The Motors (モーターズ, 2014), won the Special Jury Prize at the PFF Awards. He is active as a singer-songwriter, actor, and director.
