ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Elaiza Ikeda 池田 エライザ

Elaiza Ikeda was born in 1996 and works across film, television, modeling, and music. In 2020, she made her directorial debut with Town Without Sea (夏、至るころ), a film set in her hometown of Tagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The film was officially invited to the Cinema Fest section of the 21st Jeonju International Film Festival and selected for the International Panorama section of the 23rd Shanghai International Film Festival. She received the Elle Girl New Director Award at the Elle Cinema Awards 2020.
